Beginner quilting classes

This is a 4 class series, 3 hours per class. $279

Learn the basics of quilting. We will make a beautiful table runner. If you've taken this class will continue with a new project from the Patchwork and Quilting book.

This class is great for people who have never quilted, or for quilters who want to brush up on their basic knowledge of quilting techniques. 

We will cover cutting, pressing, piecing, how to choose colors that work well together, constructing the quilt sandwich (top, batting, backing), basic straight line quilting, and binding. 

We will be using the book, "New Patchwork & Quilting Basics" by Jo Avery. This book will be a great reference tool for you during class and the future. We will be learning these techniques while constructing a simple table runner, from start to finish. (Book will be available for purchase at a discount for all participants)
